Quality Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide the quality lab staff.
• Initiate and supervise waste/scrap reduction projects.
• Initiate and supervise cost savings projects.
• Generate reports and presentations for process improvement or cost justification.
• Support customer-driven initiatives.
• Participate in external audits (including FSSC 22000, IMS).
• Participate in internal audits (quality system and GMP).
• Administer and maintain the internal, supplier, and customer notification system.
• Ensure accurate returned-goods valuation and management.
• Track material dispositions and follow-up if dispositions are not made within a reasonable amount of time.
• Facilitate and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in industrial/manufacturing application or quality assurance.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in blown film, flexo printing, and/or adhesive lamination.
• Quality-related experience preferred.
• Achieve green belt status, as a minimum.
