Quality Supervisor

About the Role

Lead a quality team to drive best practices in quality control and quickly address any quality issues that arise in production at our Janesville, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Work with the quality team to correct quality issues and train/develop team members to handle quality concerns effectively.
• Present quality cases or arguments to the Plant Manager in a clear and logical manner.
• Follow through logical processes for resolving quality issues.
• Maintain weekly contact with customers for follow-up and proactive quality solutions.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer complaints, create action plans, and ensure resolution.
• Provide support to the production team.
• Monitor and participate in the plant's safety program.
• Monitor and review quality forms and paperwork for accuracy.
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in quality control.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to train and follow up with the quality team.
• Developed leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and ask for help when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GMP’s and HACCP programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory auditing.
• Experience with calibration schedules.
• Experience with quality hold processes.
• 2 or 4 year degree.
