About the role

Responsible for implementing and maintaining a systemic quality focus utilizing Six Sigma tools and methodologies for both product and process improvement. This role achieves quality objectives by partnering with a centralized shared services organization and geographically distributed business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma projects and Root Cause Analysis investigations to achieve sustainable corrective and preventive actions
  • Manage the quality assessment and roll-out of automation tools across the TK Elevator Business Unit
  • Lead, facilitate, and manage LEAN workshops and affiliated actions
  • Review and analyze quality concern reporting data, and work with Shared Service Center (SSC) departments to implement containment, preventative action, and continuous improvement projects
  • Support process optimization efforts identified by department directors and SSC Leadership
  • Drive business process controls through effective implementation of the Quality Management system, standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and metrics
  • Successfully manage cross-functional projects across organizational boundaries
  • Provide technical and process expertise to teams and customers
  • Develop strong relationships with functional clients to ensure support and achievement of strategic objectives
  • Support development and implementation of Lean Six Sigma training
  • Mentor others in the use of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ensure delivery of deployment benefits/results
  • Realize gains by leading Lean Six Sigma projects and supporting project teams to achieve and sustain improvements
  • Provide a sense of urgency for results through project review and metrics (Formal project review process)
  • Act as an agent for quality cultural rejuvenation and change

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or financial field
  • Minimum 5 years in a cross-functional quality position or 5 years of leading teams with a focus on process improvements
  • Shared Service Center experience (Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Contracts, Billing, Purchasing)
  • Experience leading Lean Six Sigma projects
  • High technical competency in continuous/process improvement methodologies such as DMAIC, Lean, DFSS/process design, process management, and change management
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex projects; expert in project management and execution
  • Executive presence and leadership skills; ability to hold attention, exude confidence, and lead
  • Six Sigma Belt (Green Belt or Black Belt) trained or certified
  • Evidence of effective execution in a matrix organization
  • Energizing and effective leader – able to motivate others to excel
  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results against organization goals
  • Demonstrated ability to address and resolve complex technical issues
  • Shown ability to adjust tactics and methods to address changes within a dynamic business environment
  • Solid analytical ability for both situations and data
  • Proven ability to integrate cross-functionally
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional experience
  • Black Belt certification
  • Data analysis experience
  • Experience in a Shared Service Center environment in one or more of the following finance functional areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, purchasing, contracts, and billing
