Quality Program Manager
About the Role
The Quality Program Manager serves as a crucial member of the hospital-based Quality Department, working in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary teams of the Quality Division. This role entails collaborative leadership and partnership in overseeing the organization's quality assurance and improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and overall healthcare outcomes. The Quality Program Manager drives continuous improvement efforts across the facility and through the healthcare system by leading projects, analyzing data, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This position is essential in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and championing a culture of quality and safety throughout the healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality and safety initiatives within healthcare settings.
- Oversee the organization's quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Enhance patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and overall healthcare outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by leading projects and analyzing data.
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Champion a culture of quality and safety throughout the healthcare system.
- Apply Lean methodologies to drive process improvements and achieve organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Master's degree (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, clinical quality improvement, LEAN process improvement, or related fields (required).
- Experience in a clinical healthcare role or nursing (preferred).
- Experience in program management within a healthcare setting (preferred).

Licensure
- Certification in Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ) or related certification within 1 year of hire (required).

Pay
USD $49.89 - USD $74.34 /Hr.
