About the role

Fills bottles with products, labels the bottles, and prepares the finished product for delivery to the Product Delivery department. Great starting pay of $15.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, long-term bonus, and company profit sharing after six months of full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieves production components and sterilizes tables and equipment.
  • Operates filling machinery or uses manual process to fill bottles.
  • Caps bottles using manual methods or machines.
  • Lifts finished product in totes onto pallets, shelves, or tables.
  • Performs clean-up duties including washing equipment, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage, and wiping down workstations.
  • Supports equipment changeover and setup processes as directed.
  • Inspects quality of own work for cleanliness, label placement, lids tightness, correct batch numbers, etc.
  • Completes personal reports by recording information such as individual performance, batch sheets, cleaning logs, labeling, amounts, OTC product forms, component returns sheet to warehouse, etc.
  • Assists in training other associates as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs. + consistently for eight (8) hours.
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment.
  • Standing and walking for duration of 8-hour shift.
  • Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate projects.
  • Manual dexterity for such duties as collating, sorting, filling, toting, etc.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
  • Good math comprehension skills to solve mathematical problems and complete assigned paperwork.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to climb stairs.
