About the Role

Determines quality and reliability standards by using gauges and optical instruments; verifying that specifications meet standards.

Identifies in-process product condition by collecting samples during the production process; conducting in-process inspections and physical tests.

Determines disposition of finished product by collecting; classifying, analyzing, and interpreting production and quality data; judging product acceptability in comparison to specifications.

Documents status by reordering and summarizing inspection and physical test data, updating quality assurance database.

Calibrates instruments; making regular inspections of equipment; verifying press settings at prescribed intervals.

Performs minor repairs and regular maintenance.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Education and Experience: HS/GED
  • 1 year process control/quality control experience
  • Prior printing environment experience
  • Ability to adjust equipment/machinery to obtain maximum output

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
