Quality Mfg. Engineering Technician

About the Role

Coordinates quality tasks and responsibilities in support of the Ironton, Ohio facility. Assists supervisors, engineers, managers, and teams with technical resources necessary to improve efficiencies and quality, focusing on data analytics and quality engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Assures all processes in technical support areas conform to the Quality system and standards.
• Assists with corrective actions and follows up on quality issues.
• Evaluates and recommends process improvements.
• Conducts time studies and develops work instructions.
• Assists with tooling and jig modifications.
• Improves workstation ergonomics.
• Provides technical support and troubleshoots complex issues.
• Assists coach(es) with coordination of departmental safety team meetings.
• Assists with relocating and setting up workstations.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work cross-functionally and foster teamwork.
• Skilled in resolving conflict and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to work long hours and a variety of shifts as needed.
