About the Position

The Premium Products Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications for premium products that involve vacuum induction melted and remelting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the EQS quality system for premium products and external quality certifications.
• Maintain the quality assurance manual for premium products.
• Conduct internal and external audits and manage corrective actions.
• Review and sign certified test reports.
• Assist other departments with quality system development.
• Manage Quality Assurance personnel involved with premium products.
• Serve as Management Representative with authority for oversight of the Premium Products Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring conformity to applicable requirements.
• Ensure processes deliver intended results and promote customer focus.
• Report QMS performance to top management.
• Travel locally, nationally, and internationally as required.
• Abide by all company policies, plant safety regulations, and work rules.
• Collaborate with others, meet attendance requirements, and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field (e.g., Quality Management).
• Minimum five (5) years QA/QC experience, preferably in metals manufacturing with remelted (VAR/ESR) products.
• Active and valid driver’s license; ability to travel and comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management (required).
