Responsibilities

• Maintains the EQS quality system for premium products and external quality certifications
• Maintains the quality assurance manual for premium products
• Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions
• Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports
• Assists other departments with quality system development
• Manages the personnel in Quality Assurance personnel involved with premium products
• Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of:
  • Ensuring the Premium Products Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements
  • Ensuring that processes deliver intended results
  • Reporting on the performance of the Premium Products QMS to top management
  • Ensuring the promotion of customer focus
  • Ensuring the integrity of the Premium Products QMS
• Travel (local, national and international) as required
• Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules
• Must have ability and desire to work with others
• Meets attendance requirements
• Performs other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field
• Minimum five (5) years QA/QC experience, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry dealing with remelted (VAR/ESR) products
• Required to have an active and valid driver’s license, or the ability to travel and commute as required, and comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program
