Location: Oxford, Alabama area
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering (or related field) and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100
- At least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality position
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, 5‑Whys, Ishikawa diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge of Geometric Tolerance and Dimensioning (GD&T) and MIL‑SPEC
- Expert in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and problem solving
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train a team of Quality inspectors performing receiving and in‑process inspections
- Lead cross‑functional Material Review Board team to evaluate and determine disposition of non‑conforming material
- Manage gage lab, including calibration and tracking of all inspection gages
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001
Pay
Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000
