Quality Manager - Omaha

About the role

Hausmann is a leading commercial general contracting, construction management, and design-build firm in the region. We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee and administer our quality control program and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer internal quality control program and inspection processes
• Oversee quality control functions throughout all phases of assigned projects
• Identify risks early and implement practical, field-driven solutions
• Develop, maintain, and represent Hausmann's quality program through engagement with project teams
• Ensure workmanship meets or exceeds project documents, codes, standards, and Hausmann's expectations
• Drive accountability, improve consistency, and promote quality integration into daily operations
• Regularly travel to project sites, including overnight stays as needed

Requirements

• Proven construction professional with strong field and construction management experience
• Understanding of quality planning, execution, and verification on active job sites
• Hands-on knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, sequencing, and coordination
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle
• Experience developing and maintaining quality programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction management or quality assurance
• Professional certifications such as LEED AP, QM, or equivalent
• Experience with quality management systems and tools
