Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Manager will establish, maintain, and continuously improve the quality system and productivity in conjunction with all Managers of Eclectic Products, LLC. (EPI). Responsibilities include ensuring consistent product quality, driving process and product upgrades based on sound quality principles to maximize customer satisfaction, and minimizing waste and production costs.

Responsibilities

• Drive, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality System.
• Collaborate with all Managers/Supervisors to increase productivity.
• Supervise Quality Control Associate and QC Tech.
• Assist with problem-solving as needed or as requested by supervision.
• Establish testing protocols and define reference materials for testing performed under contract.
• Manage external testing to ensure the required data is obtained.
• Answer technical service questions from customers and Sales personnel.
• Communicate regularly with EPI and Willamette Valley Company (WVCO) management.
• Conduct presentations and seminars to inform and educate employees.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related science.
• Minimum of 2 years of product formulation experience.
• Training in Quality System management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading a Quality System construction and/or maintenance effort at a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
