Responsibilities
- Assist with updating policies, work instructions, checklists, and production travelers to foster process improvement.
- Assist with and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and customer quality requirements.
- Support external audits as required.
- Provide oversight of Non-conformance and Corrective Action Reports, assisting with root cause analysis and meaningful corrective action.
- Provide training to personnel on quality policies and procedures and how to properly implement them.
- Enforce adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Track metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Quality Objectives, and build reports.
- Review and approve redline changes to drawings and production travelers.
- Perform other Quality Management System related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 to 5 years managing or participating in a QMS.
- Strong knowledge of the AS9100/9110 Standard.
- Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and eQMS software.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills and ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Able to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Certified internal auditor to the AS9100 and/or AS9110 Standard.
- Engineering and STEM background.
Location
This role is based in the Hollywood, AL area and is 100% onsite.
