Support and learn quality management functions with the supplier quality management applications on the interior parts commodities.

Responsibilities

  • OEE and value stream data collection system implementation at suppliers
  • Steer and coordinate supplier quality development for specific supplier-related issues
  • Apply problem-solving methodology (8D) to resolve recurrent quality topics with suppliers
  • Assist the Quality Specialist on critical ongoing or upcoming projects
  • Work on specific supplier issues regarding process problem-solving measures using problem-solving tools
  • Assist on supply chain topics related to sub-component stock tracking and crisis management for critical component shortages
  • Handle special scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the hiring manager and assignment supervisor
  • Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas
  • Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects
  • Coordinate and support focused, community-based events and initiatives
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate the landscape against business strategies
  • Stay abreast of best practices and recommend relevant initiatives for activities and actions
  • Provide regular input on enhancing processes and practices
  • Support the organization’s vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap
  • Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals
  • Create PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and support preparation for meetings
  • Participate in project team meetings
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Schedule the use of meeting room facilities as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a college program with a major in business administration, engineering, supply chain, or similar field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience leading groups of people
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
  • Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term

Schedule

The work term dates are May 18th, 2026 – August 7th, 2026.
