About the role
This internship offers a dynamic learning environment where interns are entrusted with specific responsibilities, fostering their active engagement and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Support analysis at suppliers focusing on critical rated quality issues.
- Follow up on FMEA, lessons learned, nominations, etc. in workshops.
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the USMCA region.
- Support capacity verification topics.
- Lead Special Projects including legal identification, redundancy planning, sustainability, traceability, significant characteristics, etc.
- Review and analyze department KPIs.
- Follow up on overdue deliveries.
- Review critical quality topics and data analysis.
- Follow up on measures at suppliers.
- Afford assistance to supply chain and Quality Management Parts engineers as needed.
- Analyze best practices within the supply base.
- Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas.
- Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects.
- Celebrate and support focused, community-based events and initiatives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate the landscape against business strategies.
- Stay updated with best practices and recommend relevant initiatives.
- Provide regular input on enhancing processes and practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
- Create PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and support meeting preparations.
- Participate in project team meetings.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Schedule the use of meeting room facilities as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
- Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
