Quality Management Nurse Consultant - Pennsylvania

About the role

Plans, monitors, and manages internal projects from initiation through timely completion to meet business objectives and increase performance. Works with internal staff across multiple departments to identify data sources, processes and activities required to meet state regulatory compliance requirements or meet the objectives of the Quality Management (QM) program. Uses innovation, integration and information to link quality management activities to business goals.

Responsibilities

• Identify data sources, processes and activities required to meet state regulatory compliance requirements or meet the objectives of the Quality Management (QM) program.
• Link quality management activities to business goals using innovation, integration and information.
• Works with internal staff across multiple departments to ensure compliance and achieve QM program objectives.
• Manage internal projects from initiation through timely completion to meet business objectives and increase performance.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an unrestricted license.
• Minimum of 3 years of quality management care experience.
• Willing and able to travel in-state up to 10%; with possibility of out of state travel for meetings, up to 5%.
• Strong knowledge of NCQA standards and requirements.
• Exceptional verbal/written/presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects with overlapping deliverables.
• Proficient in workplace applications and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, cloud-based document management, virtual communication/collaboration, and project platforms).
• Attention to detail, accuracy and overall quality of reports.
• Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability and Time Management skills including, but not limited to: Strong organizational skills, Motivational interviewing skills and positive attitude, Self-motivated and leadership qualities.
• Project Management Certification, CPHQ Certification.
• Ability to analyze and manage large amounts of data.

Qualifications

• Associates or diploma nursing degree required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $60,522.00 - $129,615.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
