About the role
This role is responsible for performing quality inspections during the production process. You will work closely with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to maintain a high level of quality for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process quality inspections on product as it is being produced.
- Promptly identify, document and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel to minimize impact on production processes and maintain high levels of quality.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.
- Collect and maintain related quality records.
- Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry.
- Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
- Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
- Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Comfortable using computers and learning software programs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with product inspection
- Familiarity with measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing is a plus

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Compensation
Starting hourly rate of $27.00, commensurate with experience. The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
