Quality Inspector
About the role
You will perform inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process. Conduct dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies. Interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret prints, work instructions and 3D models.
- Perform documented visual and dimensional quality inspections using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Suggest improvements and help create documented work instructions and process parameters.
- Use proper safety equipment and follow all safety procedures.
- Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities.
- Perform basic functions with computer.
- Take an ownership of shift's quality performance and for production team.
- Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 4-16 hours of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.
Requirements
You Will Have High School Diploma/GED or 2 years related experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Qualifications
The Essentials - You Will Have High School Diploma/GED or 2 years related experience. The Preferred - You Might Also Have Typically requires 2 years of previously related experience.
