Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies and finished company products according to defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
- Rework, teardown or reject subassemblies or finished products as required.
- Conduct document process and system audits using written procedures.
- Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
- Review and generate scrap defective tags.
- Problem solving.
- Continuous improvement activities.
- Variety of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One to Two years of manufacturing experience with an understanding of competencies.
- Ability to follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of AITF16949 quality standards.
- Working knowledge of measurement equipment.
- Problem Solving.
- Perform sorts, audits or rework products.
- Knowledge of product and processes.
- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks as required.
- Ability to work effectively with people.
Physical Demands
- Regularly works in a manufacturing environment.
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Requires very frequent visual effort and concentration.
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- The work requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting and a variety of physical activities.
