Boeing is excited to bring on aspiring inspectors to join our Quality Inspector Apprenticeship program in Huntsville, AL, designed to equip new teammates with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Upon completion of the 7-week program, the candidate will have successfully demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work of a Quality Inspector, to include:

• Interpreting drawings and blueprints
• Setting up and operating measuring instruments
• Following inspection and statistical sampling procedures to accept or reject materials
• Setting up equipment and performing tests on various products and assemblies using manual, semi-automatic, or automated test devices

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Basic computer experience and competency
• Experience working with precision measuring tools
• Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience performing quality inspections
