Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of fire suppression systems
- Inspect valves, gauges, piping, sprinkler heads, alarm connections, and related suppression system components
- Perform functional testing to verify proper system operation and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements
- Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings clearly to customers and supervisors
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, inspection reports, and technical manuals
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete inspection work efficiently and safely
- Complete inspection reports, deficiency documentation, and service records accurately and on time
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job progress and system status
- Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements
- Travel to job sites as required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, if driving role
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and system drawings
- Experience with commercial fire suppression systems and inspection compliance requirements preferred
Other Duties
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites
- Use of hand tools and testing equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
