Job Summary and Responsibilities

Maintains working knowledge of the current contract and deliverables to ensure compliance.

Exceptional Communication, organization, facilitation skills, and a strong team ethic is a must; ability to support and influence a team environment.

Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner under hectic and changing conditions.

Previous workload management experience strongly preferred.

Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills necessary.

Able to organize, synthesize, and analyze large amounts of information.

Strong verbal and written skills.

Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrators, and a wide-variety of non-technical staff.

Works with supervisor and appropriate staff to establish and maintain a performance measurement/indicator system for Operations.

Works with Supervisor to develop evaluation tools that will produce quantitative and qualitative data and findings to validate compliance and competence.

Works with Supervisor to identify and maximize opportunities to use data and reports to improve services, processes and products.

Works with Supervisor to provide IRR studies and any other Quality Improvement studies conducted as required for assigned contracts or customers, both internal and external.

Works with Peer Reviewer recruitment and assists with credentialing and invoice questions.

Works with Supervisor to facilitate the development and implementation of quality improvement plans, including policies, procedures and guidelines.

Work with Supervisor to prepare and provide data analysis of performance indicators and Quality Summary Reports to Senior Management.

Works with Supervisor to maintain documented standards of performance and identifying all deviations from the quality improvement plan.

Increasing knowledge of quality improvement models and methods (e.g. rapid cycle improvement, quality measurement and reporting, plan-do-check-act).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare administration, health services management, public health or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and utilizing varied software systems, including reporting, data management, and system support activities
  • 2+ years of experience providing project organization, coordination, tracking, and operational support
  • General knowledge of how to apply process improvement to everyday situations
  • Demonstrated experience with professional call etiquette when interacting with both internal and external customers

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of BFCC operations, audits, and compliance-related processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power Platform applications
  • Strong critical thinking skills
