Responsibilities
- Champion and reinforce a strong workplace safety culture, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage non-conformance processes, including material discrepancies, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
- Supervise in-process inspections, testing activities, and final product evaluations to ensure quality compliance.
- Coordinate external and third-party audits while maintaining accurate and compliant quality documentation.
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee workflow within the Finishing and Test Departments to support operational efficiency.
- Establish, standardize, and enhance best practices for finishing and testing procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members to ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and operational standards.
- Develop, track, and communicate quality performance metrics to leadership teams.
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and optimize processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable product build specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environments aligned with operational and safety standards.
- Oversee departmental resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Support manufacturing and production objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Apply expertise in AMS testing processes to support product validation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering-related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Prior experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership, or personnel management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of process management methodologies and process mapping techniques.
- Experience utilizing metrics-driven quality systems and performance measurements.
- Familiarity with AMS testing processes is required.
