Responsibilities
- Follow ASTM and ISO standards for material testing
- Prepare, image and test metallographic specimens
- Operate analytical testing equipment and report results
- Operate material testing equipment and report results
- Perform dimension inspection with various metrology techniques
- Preform routine maintenance of lab equipment
- Notify departments of any product failures and assist with analysis
- Aid in creating, maintaining and modifying testing procedures and work instructions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience with operating manufacturing and/or test equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Familiarity with ISO and ASTM compliance
Physical Demands
Primarily light office work
Bending and lifting of light to medium weight objects.
Compensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
The anticipated range is $18.50 - 24.00/hr.
