Quality Engineering Intern
Summary
The selected individual will be responsible for supporting risk evaluation, risk mitigation, and process monitoring activities. They will assist Quality Engineers with Corrective Action Systems, identify and implement composite manufacturing improvements, conduct quality inspection activities, perform engineering lab work, collect, analyze, and summarize data, and create basic test reports.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with minimum of 2 years completed at an accredited college or university in Engineering or other related field with curriculum such as: Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Calculus, or Statistics.
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Ability to multi-task effectively within a team environment in managing priorities
- Passionate about aerospace, manufacturing, and innovation
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks, handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Proficient use of MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power Point
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
