Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and actively participates in the APQP process for new product launch.
  • Support all ISO/IATF guidelines.
  • Maintain operator work instructions.
  • Helps initiate standards, including revising check sheets and inspection.
  • Track and analyze daily scrap.
  • Participates in problem solving activities and continuous improvement efforts as it relates to customer satisfaction and quality improvement.
  • Track and report quality performance.
  • Ability to conduct audits.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing and Associate or Bachelor’s degree from college or university in Engineering or a related field.
  • Effective oral communication skills (able to communicate clearly with customer, co-workers and suppliers).
  • Previous experience in creating or the ability to create procedure documents.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

PREFERRED Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures.
  • Ability to write technical documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products.
