Quality Coordinator - Quality Assurance
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Quality Manager, Medical Director, and Administrator to implement quality platforms.
- Assesses missing patient benchmarks and organizes data for member outreach or encounters with healthcare providers.
- Mails patient due letters or education flyers, calls patients and/or healthcare providers, and creates referrals to improve patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
- Provides general education related to quality measures missing or “due” to healthcare providers.
- Reviews gaps in care reports and educates providers to close data gaps.
- Provides backup support to the Member Services Representative.
Qualifications
- Two years college education or equivalent work experience.
- One to two years of IPA/managed care experience preferred.
- Must be able to travel between clinic offices.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with co-workers, senior leadership, and other management.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), databases, and typing.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $26.82. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
