Responsibilities
- Establish and analyze infection control patient safety
- Develop an operative system for documenting, recording illnesses and/or injuries
- Educate physicians, employees, and the community on infection prevention control
- Facilitate a facility-wide control plan
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship
Requirements
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Current BLS with ACLS and PALS within one year
- Mandatory reporter training
- One year infection control experience preferred
Qualifications
- Complete all annual competency training
- Maintain license and/or certification

- Strong infection control knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
