Quality Coordinator

About the role

The QA Specialist will maintain the highest standards for Food Safety, Quality, and Legality of our product and reports directly to the Food Safety Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Quality Control Lead and Quality Control Technicians
  • Maintain required record keeping during lot transition
  • Distribute and organize operations and quality records
  • Perform record review for operations and quality records
  • Perform process inspection and verification
  • Report process deviations to upper management
  • Handle non-conformance product reports and containment both physically and systematically
  • Perform finish product data entry and release as required
  • Support Root Cause Analysis as required by upper management
  • Facilitate Quality Control training as needed
  • Provide technical service for laboratory device calibration and adjustments
  • Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Perform pre-operational inspection after sanitation
  • Maintain floor lab materials inventory
  • Create purchase orders for laboratory materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Preventive Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification required
  • Better Process Control School certification required
  • High School diploma or GED (minimum education)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and write reports
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to a quality mindset
  • Ability to work in both production and office environments
