Quality Coordinator

About the role

This position supports quality integrity across the site by conducting audits, executing customer quality requirements, and implementing process improvements. The role involves coaching Team Members, enforcing quality routines, and assisting the Quality Control Manager in various quality-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate quality audits to support site-wide quality integrity.
• Assist in executing customer quality requirements and identify internal issues for resolution before shipping.
• Participate in trial tests and support related documentation.
• Support process improvements and reinforce Team Member work efficiencies to improve quality levels.
• Provide on-the-floor coaching and refresher training to Team Members on quality routines, as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
• Perform quality routines as outlined in the site process matrix and SOPs, and report compliance gaps.
• Communicate and apply SHARP (Ship, Handle and Receive Properly) process updates to Team Members and enforce them on the floor.
• Support the Quality Control Manager in delivering SHARP yearly certification.
• Ensure Team Members have access to necessary tools, including updated SHARP Process Manuals.
• Share quality and best practice information with peers at other regional sites as directed.
• Track performance variances against job standards and escalate root cause findings with recommended corrective actions.
• Assist in collecting and reporting performance measurements consistent with customer requirements.
• Participate in Workshop Action Plans, projects, and best practice sharing/implementation.
• Maintain reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Perform all duties in conformance with safety and security standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work the required schedule, including voluntary/mandatory overtime during busy seasons.
• Ability to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• One to two years of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; prior quality, audit, or inspection experience preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer or tablet skills.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Work is performed in both office and warehouse environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and material-handling equipment.
• Must be able to walk warehouse floors for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
