Quality Coordinator
Job Overview
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for performing quality projects, such as assisting with chart abstractions for the Behavioral Health Network, workflow analysis and other activities to measure and monitor clinical quality, workflow, and throughput.
Qualifications
- A New Jersey RN License or an approved compact with New Jersey endorsement is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
- A history of quality improvement, quality management, or standards experience is required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills necessary: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- A Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- A CPHQ Certification is preferred.
- Experience with Viso and Vizient a plus.

Essential Functions
- Coincide, implement and participate in the evaluation of the ongoing, functionally integrated, and systematic hospital-wide performance improvement activities.
- Coordinate subcommittees of the Performance Improvement Committee.
- Serve as a learning coach for participants.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate resolution of issue(s).
- Assist the Director in the implementation of hospital-wide programs to ensure compliance with the standards of regulatory and accrediting agencies.
