About the role
Client is seeking a full time Quality Control Technician with a specialization in Bituminus Testing (Asphalt).
Responsibilities
- Field and plant sampling and testing to ensure compliance with state specifications
- Preparing detailed reports for state agencies and customers
- Customer relations
Requirements
- IDOT Bituminous Testing-Grade I (minimum)
- Field or lab-based experience testing concrete
- Understanding of laboratory testing procedures and analytical skills, generally associated with a degree in science-related field
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of organization and keep detailed records
- Proficiency in math and computer skills
Qualifications
- Asphalt Testing: 1 year (Required)
- IDOT Bituminous Level 1 Certification (Required)
