Quality Control Technician
Responsibilities
- Conduct simple and complex data reviews, including reagent, pH, and visual data reviews, as well as chromatographic data using HPLC, GC, titrator, density meter, and FTIR.
- Perform investigations for out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.
- Utilize electronic programs to assess and document quality assurance and control processes.
- Collaborate with chemists and microbiologists to maintain high standards of quality control.
- Engage in additional activities as necessary to support the quality control team.
Requirements
- Experience in a GxP laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) or other cGxP environments.
- Experience in performing analytical chemistry data reviews.
Essential Skills
- Experience with Waters Empower Software.
- Experience with Metter Toledo software.
- Experience using LabVantage 8 for electronic lab notebooks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience reviewing chromatography data within Empower, Omnic software.
Work Environment
You will be part of a QC Micro/Chemistry team consisting of 24 individuals. The role involves both lab and office work, primarily desk work reviewing data within electronic systems such as Empower and LabVantage 8. The work setting is conducive to collaboration and networking with the Micro and Chemistry QC teams, offering a great opportunity for professional growth and the possibility of a permanent position after a nine-month contract.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
