Position Summary

The Quality Control Manager/Inspector will inspect food-service, sanitation, safety, administrative, and customer-service activities to verify that Ladgov's performance meets contract requirements. This position should operate independently from daily production supervision while reporting findings to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unannounced inspections
• Inspect kitchens, dining rooms, serving lines, storage areas, restrooms, loading docks, and exterior areas
• Verify food temperatures, sanitation practices, chemical concentrations, and cleaning results
• Inspect dishwashing, pots-and-pans, clipper-room, dining-room, and waste-management operations
• Review food-production, inventory, training, cash-handling, and property records
• Identify service deficiencies before they become recurring performance problems
• Document inspection results and maintain QC records
• Issue corrective actions and verify that deficiencies have been resolved
• Analyze recurring deficiencies and recommend preventive measures
• Support diner-feedback and customer-satisfaction programs
• Prepare information for monthly reports and quarterly performance reviews
• Coordinate quality matters with the Project Manager and facility managers

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in food-service quality control, food safety, sanitation, or institutional dining operations
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food-contact sanitation standards
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection and corrective-action reports
• Strong observational and organizational skills
• Food Protection Manager certification is strongly preferred
• Ability to work across multiple facilities and shifts
• Ability to obtain installation access
