About the role
The Quality Control Lab Technician supports ADAMA's manufacturing operations by evaluating and analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet internal specifications and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing using standardized methods and instrumentation to assess chemical and physical properties.
- Train new team members in lab procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate trends, review data, and communicate with cross-functional teams to identify quality or process issues.
- Take corrective actions to resolve quality discrepancies, escalate concerns, and support safe and accurate lab practices.
- Support ergonomic and workflow improvements to optimize lab efficiency and data accuracy.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science preferred.
- 1–3 years’ experience as a lab technician in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Strong data analysis and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of maintaining spreadsheets and lab databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across departments and shifts.
- Familiarity with good laboratory practices (GLP), safety data sheets (SDS), and handling of chemicals.
Qualifications
- Frequent sitting, walking, and standing; occasional bending, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Work performed in a combination of laboratory, office, and chemical plant environments.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
