Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced, growing manufacturer of highly engineered components and sub-assemblies for commercial aerospace, military, and industrial markets.
About the role
This is a full-time, non-management position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Inspect castings visually utilizing various measuring devices and prints as required.
- Perform coding, marking, and stamping for proper processing.
- Subject castings to testing methods such as pressure testing, magnetic particle testing, and bubble testing.
- Perform record keeping duties, including preparing scrap reports, discrepancy reports, incoming material reports, and repair sketches.
- Prepare information for scrap review by plant staff and the Quality Control Manager.
- Perform quality control audits as required.
- Ensure all castings are properly marked and tested according to prescribed standards and specifications.
- Straighten castings as required and prepare castings for X-ray.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience (at least 1 year in manufacturing).
- Comfortable utilizing various measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- NDT inspection (VT, PT, MT) experience is a plus.

Pay
Pay is from 24 USD per hour.
