Job Summary & Scope

Responsible for testing of repaired units; to inspect, test, and assemble/disassemble units. Follow test procedures and accurately document and report findings as required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze and interpret test data.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards of personal workmanship consistent with specified performance and company objectives.
  • Check the functionality of newly installed applications and/or components to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor as a quality control associate at Peak Technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, collect, compile, and analyze information to develop recommendations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with ServTrack systems.
  • Follow all safety standards and requirements.
  • Establish and maintain good communications, coordination and working relations with Peak Technologies personnel and management.
  • Afford assistance and support to technical, production and warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.
  • Provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS

  • Educational background in electronic repair and troubleshooting procedures and functions.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and processes but also think creatively to solve problems.
  • Proficiency in updating firmware and flashing circuit boards.
  • A high level of attention to detail when inspecting and troubleshooting units.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Previous electronic assembly and/or testing or related experience.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with hand tools, multi-meter, and soldering equipment.
  • Familiarity with data collection equipment and repair.
