Quality Control Inspector

Delta Electronics Manufacturing Corporation seeks a detail-oriented individual to join their team. With a history dating back to 1955, Delta Electronics is a global leader in RF, microwave, and millimeter wave interconnect solutions, serving markets such as Aerospace, Military Defense, Medical, and Wireless Communication.

Responsibilities

• Make detailed inspection of assemblies, parts, and finished products.
• Work within very close limits and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform high-grade inspection work and exercise good judgment.
• Read blueprints and understand the use of various gauges.
• Perform incoming, electroplating, and final inspections.
• Review drawings and procedures as needed and perform the necessary work to ensure parts/products conform to requirements, entering data as needed in reports.
• Analyze discrepant parts/products to determine root cause of defects or non-conformances and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Learn functions and proper use of various measurement tools, electronic test devices, mechanical gauges, and miscellaneous hand tools used for inspecting product/parts dimensions.
• Use Internal Electronic Information Database, accessed via Computer Terminal, to retrieve information relevant to document changes and new designs as needed.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
