Quality Control Inspector (Must Have 2 Years Of Quality Exp) - Entry Level
Location: Covington, GA • 6-month contract • 40 hours/week • Pay rate: $20–30/hr
Client: Medical Device Company • Employment Type: W2 Contract (US Citizens or Green-Card holders only)
Schedule
- 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (training period until February 1)
- 2nd shift: 2:45 PM – 11:30 PM (effective February 1)
About the Role
Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of medical-device products in accordance with internal procedures and Product Specifications. Reports non-conformances to Supervisor, discusses corrective action, and follows up to verify effectiveness. Determines product acceptability, initiates rejection notices, and maintains accurate written records of inspections and results. Recognizes conditions outside specific inspection areas that require action and escalates to the supervisor. Monitors G.M.P. compliance in employee work areas and reports infractions to Q.C. Lead or Manager for corrective action. Evaluates both product and process, making decisions on subjective visual inspections. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per internal procedures and Product Specifications

- Follow up to ensure corrective actions are effective
- Determine product acceptability or rejection; initiate rejection notices
- Maintain accurate written records of inspections and results
- Identify and escalate conditions outside specific inspection areas requiring action
- Monitor compliance to G.M.P. in employee working areas and report infractions
- Evaluate product and process quality, impacting productivity and costs (rework, scrap, warranty)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Control experience
- Ability to withstand repetitive motion and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to read and comprehend English
Preferred Qualifications
- Six months of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated human-relations and communication skills
