Quality Control Inspector - Entry Level
Location: Andover, MA • Duration: 12 months • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM • Employment type: W2 contract (US citizens, GC holders, OPT EAD, or CPT only)
About the role
Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of medical-device products in accordance with internal procedures and product specifications. Reports non-conformances to the supervisor, discusses corrective action, and follows up to verify effectiveness. Determines product acceptability, initiates rejection notices, and maintains accurate written records of inspections and results. Recognizes conditions outside specific inspection areas that require action and escalates them to the supervisor. Monitors compliance with GMP in employee work areas and reports infractions to the QC supervisor for corrective action. Evaluates both product and process, making decisions on subjective visual inspections. Responsibilities impact product quality, productivity, and costs related to rework, scrap, and warranty.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of related quality-control experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated human-relations and communication skills
- Ability to withstand repetitive motion and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to read and comprehend English
- Six months of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Pay
$20–$30/hour
