Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality control processes that align with Waterworks’ high standards and company-wide practices.
  • Evaluate the aesthetic and functional quality of our plumbing and furnishings to ensure they meet design and performance expectations.
  • Conduct tests and inspections, identify imperfections, and collaborate on solutions to continuously improve product quality.
  • Work closely with Product Support, Product Development, Assembly, and external suppliers to uphold quality expectations.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality issues and resolutions, contributing to ongoing process improvements.
  • Communicate findings and insights that help shape product development and supplier performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years prior experience in Quality Control for consumer product manufacturer dealing with metals
  • Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Demonstrated exceptional oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; the ability to manage data in Excel a plus
  • Experience with quality system audits
  • Demonstrates a passion and a responsibility for consumer satisfaction
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development

Qualifications

We value candidates who bring a strong background in quality control for consumer product manufacturers, particularly those with experience dealing with metals. Prior inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred. Demonstrated exceptional communication skills and a commitment to consumer satisfaction are also essential. Additionally, we seek individuals who are able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, and who are eager to continue learning and growing within the company.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is beneficial for managing data and tracking quality issues. Experience with quality system audits and a strong understanding of consumer satisfaction are also valuable assets.

Pay

The rate of pay is determined based on each individual's experience, qualifications, and the geographic location of the role. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate's experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Schedule

This role is an on-site position based at our Distribution Center in Brookfield, CT, working in a warehousing environment. The schedule is flexible and includes standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
