Quality Control Inspector

About the role

ProRecruiters is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join a growing and dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated metal parts for proper dimensions, workmanship, and overall quality.
• Review blueprints, drawings, work orders, and customer specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Perform in-process and final inspections.
• Identify defects, dimensional issues, and other nonconforming products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Communicate quality concerns to production employees and supervisors.
• Assist with determining the cause of quality issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Verify that completed products meet requirements before shipment.
• Ensure measuring and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with other quality or production duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of basic inspection methods and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with production employees and management.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and metal materials in a manufacturing environment.

Experience

Previous quality control experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is preferred. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

Pay

$25/hour

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm (Fridays as needed)
