Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Conducts packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after evaluating analytical data. May assess draft and final label copy using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes downtime by reducing production rework and recalls.

Responsibilities

• Have experience with a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with IPC 610
• Able to identify components by value
• Able to read electrical schematics (ECOs)
• Read, understand, and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs)
• Familiar with and able to operate Automatic Optical Inspection machines
• Read and follow work instructions and safety procedures in English
• Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal, written instructions, drawings, or diagrams
• Operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment

Requirements

• Be available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to a minimum 40-hour workweek
• 2 to 4 years of related experience

Pay

Annual salary range: $45,760 – $47,840 ($22 – $23 hourly).
