Quality Control Inspector

Great opportunities are right here in your backyard. Kelly® is looking for a Quality Inspector to work at a premier manufacturing client in North Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received or built internally
- Collecting quality data and executing comprehensive product inspections
- Serving as a focal point for analyzing quality issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions
- Reviewing documentation for compliance to quality standards
- Inspecting First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies according to plans and specifications
- Conducting subassembly tests to ensure product quality
- Using measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges
- Auditing and monitoring quality requirements in accordance with company and customer specifications
- Documenting and reporting inspection findings, and monitoring corrective actions
- Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS)
- Continuously assessing opportunities for improvement within management systems
Requirements
- Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs
- Experience with Document Control software
- Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, and knowledge of DFx, FMEA, or similar Quality Systems
Qualifications
- Must-have: Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment
- Must-have: Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs
- Must-have: Experience with Document Control software
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, and knowledge of DFx, FMEA, or similar Quality Systems
