Quality Control Inspector

Great opportunities are right here in your backyard. Kelly® is looking for a Quality Inspector to work at a premier manufacturing client in North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received or built internally
• Collecting quality data and executing comprehensive product inspections
• Serving as a focal point for analyzing quality issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions
• Reviewing documentation for compliance to quality standards
• Inspecting First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies according to plans and specifications
• Conducting subassembly tests to ensure product quality
• Using measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges
• Auditing and monitoring quality requirements in accordance with company and customer specifications
• Documenting and reporting inspection findings, and monitoring corrective actions
• Adhering to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS)
• Continuously assessing opportunities for improvement within management systems

Requirements

• Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment
• Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs
• Experience with Document Control software
• Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, and knowledge of DFx, FMEA, or similar Quality Systems

Qualifications

• Must-have: Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment
• Must-have: Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs
• Must-have: Experience with Document Control software
• PREFERRED: Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, and knowledge of DFx, FMEA, or similar Quality Systems
