Quality Control Inspector

Essential Functions Of The Job

• Inspects each piece of furniture as it reaches the end of the upholstery line.
• Contacts Upholstery Line Supervisor and/or Quality Control Supervisor as rejects occur, or questions regarding passing or failing of quality requirements.
• Inspects items such as pleats, width of legs, cushion regulation, staples in material, and black bottom.
• Checks for waves or pulls in the arms, flaws or tears in material, stains, holes in black bottom, loose tacking strips, etc.
• Ensures cover is pulled tight on the back and other areas of furniture.
• Applies tags and labels as directed.
• Attends safety audits as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: High School Diploma or GED not required.
• Working Conditions: Typical factory working conditions with exposure to heat, dust, oil, etc.

Pay

Pay range is $22.50 - 24.00 / hour.
