About the Role

The Quality Control Inspector ensures the inspection of finished products in accordance with checklists and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sampling, sorting, measuring, and inspecting incoming components and raw materials to company blueprints or specifications.
• Ensure inspection of finished products using checklists and inspection procedures.
• Label, segregate, and report items that do not meet inspection requirements.
• Prepare required inspection reports.
• Verify products meet customer expectations.
• Communicate inspection results and suggest corrective actions.
• Review blueprints and specifications to compare with produced goods.
• Determine causes of product defects and reworks.
• Document deficiencies and errors in reports.
• Notify the department manager of non-conforming items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 5 days a week (8:00 AM–5:00 PM).
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Basic computer and math skills for calibration and measurement.
• Ability to use measuring devices (e.g., calipers, measuring tape).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Control.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods (varies by daily tasks).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
