About the role

JELD-WEN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team. This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance and possible overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct random Quality Audits daily, including dock audits, product audits, process audits, 1st off-inspection audits, and countermeasure effectiveness audits.
  • If non-conformances are found, notify the TL and/or GM to solve the issue.
  • Contain suspect products when larger quantities are found.
  • Inspect applicable service units.
  • Create and review quality alerts with production.
  • Assist Production Lines with Problem-Solving projects.
  • Handle special inspection requests.
  • Audit win numbers on glass as applicable.
  • Train new team members to quality standards.
  • Complete receiving inspections according to schedule.
  • Perform other tasks and assignments as assigned by the Quality Group Manager or Quality Manager.
