Quality Control Inspector
About the role
Hadco Metal, a widely recognized and consistently growing distributor of semi‑finished metals and engineered plastics, is seeking two Quality Inspectors for its largest production and distribution facility (250,000 sq ft) in Bensalem, PA.
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for receiving, processing, and ensuring the quality of incoming material and outgoing products. The role requires strong confidence in math and measuring capabilities (including fractions and decimals), proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools, and meticulous attention to detail when documenting and entering data into the company’s ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Perform material inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Proactively and collaboratively work in the warehouse operations environment with employees and management.
- Inspect the quality and acceptability of purchased materials by examining critical features, measuring dimensions, and evaluating functionality with appropriate inspection tools.
- Inspect work‑in‑process material, confirm First Article Inspections, and perform Final Inspections of finished products prior to shipment.
- Inspect materials to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality inspection role.
- Strong basic math skills and sound knowledge of measuring equipment such as micrometers and/or calipers.
- Ability to manage certification paperwork and accurately enter information into the company ERP system.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Monday 11 AM – 8 PM
- Tuesday – Friday 9 AM – 6 PM
- Tuesday – Friday 11 AM – 8 PM, Saturday 8 AM – 5 PM
