About the role

The Quality Control Inspector performs inspections of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness, and provides approval for return to service with respect to work performed by the Service Center (FAA Certificated Repair Station). The role may also involve performing aircraft maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and assisting customers with technical and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to Quality Assurance for quality and airworthiness; may report to Crew Chief for assignment of aircraft maintenance tasks.
  • Using FAA-approved technical data, inspect and approve aircraft for return to service.
  • Travel to off-site locations to support customer aircraft as needed.
  • Perform inspections, adjustments, repairs, and component replacements with or without power applied to the aircraft.
  • Repair components removed from aircraft.
  • Remove and reinstall aircraft components to access work areas.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft system malfunctions (fault isolation).
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Document, record, and sign for work performed and/or inspected per RSM/QCM.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Fuel and defuel aircraft, and perform line services.
  • Conduct inspections on-site and at off-site locations.
  • Support production aircraft under the Production Certificate System.
  • Assist other employees within areas of qualification.
  • Adhere to RSM/QCM and applicable regulations.
  • Accountable for work performed.

Requirements

  • Mechanics certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and alteration of turbofan-powered business aircraft.
  • Trained or experienced in methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools for aircraft maintenance and alterations.
  • Thoroughly familiar with applicable regulations, RSM/QCM, and proficient in inspection methods and tools.
  • Able to work unsupervised for extended periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with a "can-do" attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Team player exhibiting Dassault Falcon Jet core values.

Pay

Compensation for this position typically ranges from $38 to $50 per hour. The final offer depends on factors such as experience, Falcon-specific experience, education/certifications, geographic location, and shift. This role is eligible for overtime, shift differential, and relocation assistance.
