Quality Control Inspector

Schedule

1st shift Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on production demands and can include staying beyond your scheduled shift and/or weekend work.

About the role

Join a rapidly growing manufacturer of custom HVAC air filters as a Quality Control Inspector. Inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Solve problems, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and help drive continuous improvement in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to verify they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections and use a tape measure to confirm product dimensions.
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns; communicate findings to Production and Operations.
• Complete quality inspection reports and production documentation.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Product Inspection, or Manufacturing Quality experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
